The Untold Story of the Suffragists of Newfoundland - written and produced by Marian Frances White
The wonderful Marian Frances White is allowing us to screen her film THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE SUFFRAGISTS OF NEWFOUNDLAND for a special one-night only fundraiser for the Armine Nutting Gosling statue project!
Join us on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at 7pm at the Resource Centre For The Arts LSPU Hall for a screening of the film followed by a talk-back with Marian Frances White and historian Dr. Margot Duley, moderated by Ruth Lawrence.
Tickets are $40 and include a $25 tax receipt for the charitable portion.

The Untold Story was written and produced by Marian Frances White as a docu-drama celebrating the thirty-year struggle by the women of Newfoundland to win the right to vote. It was awarded third place in documentary filmmaking at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, California in 1999.
